Welcome To The Wheelchair Ramp S
Welcome To The Wheelchair Ramp Store At HDIS Healthcare.
We offer a
wide variety of
Threshold Ramps,
Suitcase Ramps,
and Tri-Fold
Wheelchair Ramps that help you bridge the gaps when using a
Manual Wheelchair,
Mobility
Scooter, or
Electric
Wheelchair. Here are some tips to help you select the correct wheelchair ramp:
According to the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG),
a standard ramp should have a grade no steeper than 1:12. This means that for
every inch of rise (change in height) there should be 12 inches of run (change
in length). Using this formula, a ramp that spans two 8-inch steps (16”
rise) should be 16 feet long.
